I’ve been trying to find this model/quote somewhere and I can’t find it anywhere! I think I noticed it in a parenting book or blog, and it made me laugh and stuck in my head. It applies to any type of couple, and kids just exacerbates the effect.
Anyway the gist of it was, if you have two people living together, and one person thinks they are doing 90% of the housework, they are, it’s just that there is actually 180% to be done.
(It was probably funnier how the original author put it ;)).
