Eustress vs Distress

I like to remember these two types as stress as a simple mental model to reframe how I think about stress.

Eustress is positive stress – it’s that new challenge – maybe a new business or promotion, or maybe a first date!

If you think about it on a continuum, it can help reframe some of the perceived negative feelings of a stressor. I read about reframing public speaking stress & anxiety as excitement which I found useful.
